EU Sees Rise in Average Full-Time Annual Salaries in 2023

Average Full-Time Annual Salary Growth in the EU

In 2023, the average annual salary for full-time employees in the European Union rose to €37,900, marking a 6.5% increase from €35,600 in 2022.

According to Eurostat data, Luxembourg recorded the highest average full-time annual salary among EU countries at €81,100, followed by Denmark at €67,600 and Ireland at €58,700.

In contrast, the lowest average annual salaries for full-time work were found in Bulgaria (€13,500), Hungary (€16,900), and Greece (€17,000).
