EU Deploys Rescue Teams to Aid BiH After Catastrophic Floods

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has confirmed the EU's deployment of rescue teams to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina in the wake of disastrous flooding

The EU civil protection mechanism has been activated, and we are sending rescue teams to the scene. This is what EU solidarity looks like in action,” von der Leyen posted on “X”.

She further expressed the EU’s support for the flood-stricken nation, saying, “We stand with the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina during these devastating floods, both in heart and mind.”
