Croatia’s Logistics Revolution with RC Europe’s Groundbreaking Hub

RC Europe is spearheading the construction of Croatia's largest logistics hub, RC Zone Samobor, set to transform the regional logistics and economic landscape

In a major development for Croatia’s logistics landscape, RC Europe, a Czech investment entity, has initiated the construction of the country’s largest and most sophisticated logistics center, RC Zone Samobor. Located advantageously near the A3 motorway and the Slovenian border, this ambitious project encompasses 170,000 square meters, with 86,000 square meters dedicated to leasable space.

The project, valued at over €100 million and slated for completion within a year, is designed to meet various logistics demands, from storage to production and office functions. Leading logistics entities, including DB Schenker, Logaritam, and Milšped, have already secured their spots, signaling the center’s significant potential for enhancing regional economic dynamics and logistics services.

Antonín Dillenz, CEO of RC Europe, expressed enthusiasm about the project’s progress: “We are extremely proud of the progress made so far on the RC Zone Samobor project; everything is proceeding according to the planned schedule, and the capacities are rapidly filling up with reputable names from the industry. We look forward to future agreements and the completion of the works themselves. I would like to commend the entire team and thank the City of Samobor and the local community for their support and collaboration in creating a logistics center that will be crucial for the local and regional economy, while also setting new standards in the logistics industry.”

Emphasizing sustainability, RC Europe integrates eco-friendly initiatives into the project, including a 7 MW solar power plant and electric vehicle charging facilities, aligning with international BREEAM® certification standards and underscoring the project’s green credentials.
