Croatia Launches First Festival Crypto at Dani Komunikacija

Dani Komunikacija returns to Rovinj this May with not just its signature blend of world-class speakers and marketing flair—but also Croatia’s first official festival cryptocurrency: DKoin.

For its 11th edition, Dani Komunikacija is no longer just a festival—it’s a signal. With over 75 curated segments, more than 180 performers, and five stages ranging from immersive 360° arenas to sun-soaked beaches, this gathering has redefined what a communication summit can be. It’s where cyborg anthropologists share the stage with Cannes Lions legends, and where attention economists and marketing mavericks swap notes on what still captivates the human mind.

But the real headline? DKoin. Developed in collaboration with Electrocoin, Croatia’s pioneering crypto exchange, DKoin positions the festival at the crossroads of creativity and tech innovation. Each verified attendee receives five DKoin tokens—convertible to euros or other crypto—and a chance to win prizes in the interactive DKoin Toss. It’s not just playful—it’s symbolic of the shifting terrain where brand communication meets decentralised technology.

Beyond the panels and provocations, the festival pulses late into the night with awards (from Effie to IdejaX), beach parties, and DJ-fuelled after-hours celebrations under the stars. Morning workouts and sunset yoga complete the rhythm, setting a tempo that’s less “conference agenda” and more cultural ritual.

At Dani Komunikacija, the future of the industry isn’t just discussed. It’s experienced—coded, choreographed, and set to a beat.
