Bar Municipality Allocates €100,000 for Women Entrepreneurs

The initiative aims to empower women in business, providing financial backing for innovative ventures and growth

In a significant move to promote female entrepreneurship, the Municipality of Bar has announced a €100,000 fund for 2025, aimed at supporting local women in business.

The funds, part of an ongoing initiative, are available through a public competition, with individual grants of up to €5,000 for eligible applicants.

These grants are designed to cover up to 70% of the justified costs related to the business plans of female entrepreneurs or businesses led by women.

The competition, which runs until April 2, 2025, is open to women-based enterprises in Bar, offering an opportunity for further development or new business ventures.

Information sessions will be held on March 11 and 25 to guide applicants through the process.

Since the program’s inception, Bar has already allocated over €350,000, supporting 93 businesses and contributing to the local economy by encouraging the growth of female-led enterprises and job creation.
