Addiko Bank Launches E-Guarantees In Montenegro

Addiko Bank has issued its first electronic bank guarantee for corporate clients participating in public procurement, marking an important step in the digitalisation of banking and tender procedures in Montenegro.

The e-guarantee allows companies to submit tender guarantees fully online, in line with regulations on electronic identification and digital signatures, without the need for physical paperwork or bank visits.

Once bids are opened, documentation is automatically available on the Ministry of Finance’s public procurement portal (CeJN), improving efficiency, transparency and security for both bidders and contracting authorities.

he system also reduces paper use and administrative costs.

The solution is powered by the TrustPoint platform developed by Montenegrin tech company ZEKO.ME, enabling secure digital signing, validation and long-term document archiving in line with European standards.
