This June, Belgrade Welcomes the Global ETH Community for the Third Time

After making a big impact in the Ethereum event space with two strong editions, “the most welcoming conference” is returning to carry on its tradition.

Third event of Hackathon and ETH Belgrade Conference is officially going to be held from 3 to 5 June. Looking at the previous years, both the events were considered to be the foundation of Belgrade Blockchain Week. It is a huge gathering that will have several Crypto and Ethereum-related events all around Serbia.

ETH Belgrade Levels Up

This year, ETH Belgrade is going to invite around 1,200+ ETH builders and about 400 hackers from all over the globe. It will strengthen its position among the prominent Ethereum-related events. These optimistic numbers are supported by industry leaders at the early stage only. DeFi Saver, Tenderly, Chainlink, LI.FI, Polkadot, iExec, Ethernal, Oasis, Lido, Flare, and more are the first set of teams supporting the hackathon and conference.

A curated list of speakers is one of the highlighting features of this event happening in Belgrade. This year the list is more quality-centric than before. It features well-known figures from the most popular crypto projects, like:

Milos Stankovic from Ethereum Foundation
Martin Krung from Curve
Jeffrey Scholz from Rareskills
Francesco Andreoli from Consensys
Token Brice from The Defi Collective

and more events to be announced in May.

Bridging Builders, Not Just Assets

ETH Belgrade is setting new standards in hospitality and community-building, while staying true to Ethereum’s core value of prioritizing builders. This year, ETH Belgrade is introducing a campaign called the “Bridging Builders, Not Just Assets”. Facilitating an aircraft to Prague for bringing hackers free of cost from ETH Hackathon to directly Belgrade.

“Belgrade equals Web3. The biggest Web3 projects of global level are initiated here only, and it is our mission to transform the name of Belgrade as recognizable as they are.” — Petar Popovic, Founder and Core Organizer of ETH Belgrade

At ETH Belgrade, such bold steps aren’t merely symbolic, they build real opportunities, make the Ethereum ecosystem more resilient, and propel the ecosystem towards further decentralization.

Serbia: A Thriving Web3 Hub

Serbia has transformed as a major contributor to the Web3 space in the past decade. It has over 50 blockchain firms concentrated within Belgrade only. The city is also home to the renowned Web3 platforms around the globe like Tenderly and DeFi Saver, which makes it the appropriate destination for Ethereum developers.
