Dario Matić Returns to Hilton to Lead Rijeka’s Costabella Resort

Hospitality executive with two decades of experience at Hilton and Marriott takes the helm of one of Croatia’s flagship coastal resorts.

Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa has named hospitality professional Dario Matić as its new General Manager, bringing two decades of international hotel experience to the leadership of the Adriatic resort.

Dario Matić has been appointed General Manager of Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa, marking his return to Hilton after several years in senior leadership roles within the hospitality industry.

Matić brings more than 20 years of experience gained with Hilton and Marriott International, two of the world’s leading hotel groups. He began his hospitality career at Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik, where he developed a strong operational foundation that would shape his management approach in the years that followed.

Before joining the team in Rijeka, he served as General Manager of the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel, where he further strengthened his expertise in hotel operations, strategic development and team leadership.

In his new role, Matić will focus on maintaining the resort’s high service standards while continuing to position Hilton Rijeka Costabella as a leading luxury destination on the Adriatic.

“Returning to Hilton in this role means a lot to me. I look forward to this new opportunity and am proud to lead the team at Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa, continuing to position the resort as a leading destination on the Adriatic,” Matić said.

With his operational background and people-focused leadership style, Matić is expected to guide the resort through its next phase of growth while strengthening its position within Hilton’s regional portfolio.
