Mömax Marks Its Entry into the Serbian Market with a New Outlet in Belgrade

Mömax, a prominent retail chain within the Austrian XXXLutz Group, is expanding its presence in the Adriatic region by launching its first Serbian store, complementing its existing network in Croatia and Slovenia

In an ambitious move set to redefine retail dynamics in Serbia, the esteemed Mömax retail chain, operating under the auspices of the Austrian conglomerate XXXLutz Group, has officially declared its foray into the Serbian market. This strategic expansion is poised to enrich the local retail landscape with a fresh avenue for quality furniture and home decor.

Scheduled for a grand unveiling at the end of May, the inaugural Mömax outlet in Belgrade is a testament to the brand’s commitment to establishing a strong foothold in the region. Spanning an impressive 4,700 square metres, with 3,000 square metres dedicated exclusively to showcasing an exquisite range of furniture, this venture is not just a retail milestone but also a significant economic beacon, promising to create 45 new jobs.

With Mömax’s strategic expansion into the Serbian market, the brand continues to build on its strong presence in the Balkans, notably in Croatia and Slovenia. In Croatia, with stores in major cities like Zagreb, Split, and Rijeka, and in Slovenia, starting with its well-received outlet in Velenje, Mömax is steadily becoming a household name for quality furniture and home decor. This move into Serbia underscores the brand’s commitment to broadening its footprint in the region, offering a diverse range of products to meet the evolving tastes and needs of consumers across the Balkans.

The XXXLutz Group, revered as the world’s second-largest entity in the furniture and home accessories sector, is extending its global reach with this new establishment. The Beograd store marks the 105th Mömax outlet, further solidifying the brand’s presence across nine European nations.

This strategic expansion by Mömax into Serbia is more than a mere extension of its retail network; it represents a significant investment in the local economy and a vote of confidence in the region’s retail sector’s potential. With its eye for design and quality, Mömax is set to become a key player in the Serbian furniture and home decor market, offering consumers an unparalleled shopping experience.

As the doors of the first Mömax store open in Belgrade, the Serbian retail landscape is poised for a transformative journey, heralding a new era of shopping excellence and economic vitality.
