Weekend.19 will feature eight festival programmes, three days of content, two locations, and more than 7,500 visitors and 200 speakers from the region and around the world this year
The programme begins on Thursday, 24 September, at the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, with events taking place across 11 halls at Tvornica duhana Rovinj and the Grand Park Hotel.
For the first time, the festival will include Health.Weekend and Education.Weekend, while Tech.Weekend expands to two days. A new dome is also being introduced – a venue for short pitch presentations by leading figures from Croatian and global companies.
Weekend.19
The main programme brings together topics, people and ideas that examine, from different perspectives, a world changing faster than ever. The line-up includes Fredrik Haren, James Bloodworth, Laura Bermudez (DrumWave), Ulrik Haagerup (Constructive Institute) and the team behind the film “Svadba”.

HR.Weekend
A festival that takes HR beyond traditional topics and explores the role of people, culture and leadership in business success. Speakers include Tomas Chamorro-Premuzić, Dr Asmus Komma, Aneta Godzwon (Orbico) and Marina Morić (Croatia Control).
Tech.Weekend powered by Telemach
Two days of technology conversations covering startups, AI agents, hardware, robots and engineering decisions, without dull lectures. Participants include Snježana Miliša, Jelena Jurišić, Tomislav Maras, Nenad Mandić, Ervin Jagatić, Aleks Buvač, Mislav Galler, Mate Rimac, Ivan Burazin, Tomislav Car, Hrvoje Ćosić and Ivan Bešlić.

Finance.Weekend
A programme looking at finance through the lens of different industries — from the music business and space technologies to telecommunications and AI in finance. Speakers include Stuart Mauchline (Virgin Music), Léa Raiche-Marsden (Leanspace), Jacek Popielewicz (Nexteer Automotive) and Marina Balenović Lacković (EuroTeleSites AG).
Investment.Weekend
A festival presenting investment from multiple perspectives — from real estate and funds to artificial intelligence, pensions and personal finance. The programme features Igor Čanadi (OpenAI), Boro Vujović, Andrej Erjavec, Roko Živković, Slaven Kordić and Marko Bogdan, as well as a fintech panel with Ivan Drlje, Branir Petrušić and Ana Zovko.

Energy.Weekend poweredUP by E.ON
A programme focused on the energy transition, security of supply and new rules of the game that are already reshaping business. Speakers include Nikša Sviličić, Iva Rogović Lekić (GrECo Specialty) and Diego Cucurachi (AMARC DHP), with representatives of KONČAR, INA and HEP also taking part.
Health.Weekend
The inaugural edition explores new trends in health, from technology and prevention to the increasingly active role of patients. Speakers include Victoria Loomes (TrendWatching), Prim. Dr Borka Pezo Nikolić (KBC Zagreb) and Mario Ravić (Ericsson Nikola Tesla).
Education.Weekend powered by Končar
A festival bringing together educators and scientists who transform knowledge into curiosity, inspiration and modern approaches to learning. Participants include Korado Korlević, Gregor Čavlović (Veritasium), Kenan Crnkić and Ranko Rajović (NTC).
Weekend atmosphere – when the panels end
The conversations continue in an informal atmosphere, with networking, spontaneous get-togethers and parties. Thursday and Friday bring the traditional parties, while Saturday features the major closing spectacle.
From 24 to 27 September, Rovinj once again becomes a meeting place for people, ideas and industries shaping what comes next.
