Terme Snovik, a modest wellness centre in northern-central Slovenia, is undertaking its most significant development yet with the construction of a four-star hotel, estimated at €22 million.
Located near Kamnik, 40 kilometres northeast of Ljubljana, the spa presently offers lodging in eight apartment houses and a holiday campsite.
The upcoming Kneipp NaturHotel, with 72 rooms, will substantially expand the complex’s capacity.
Built with sustainability at its core and inspired by the healing principles of Sebastian Kneipp, the hotel will feature a restaurant, café, massage rooms, salon, health facilities, fitness area, and wellness spaces including a pool, jacuzzi, and saunas.
The project, expected to finish by 2026, seeks to prolong the tourist season, bolster Kamnik’s standing as an eco-friendly destination, and support the local community.
