Big Bang Expands Its Footprint in Serbia

The Slovenian retail giant aims to capture a quarter of Serbia's online electronics market by 2028, while expanding its delivery network and product range

Big Bang, the Slovenian retail leader in consumer electronics, has officially begun operating under its own brand in Serbia after acquiring the local BC Group in 2023.

The company plans to capture 25% of Serbia’s online retail market by 2028.

With a strategic focus on expanding its delivery points, product variety, and doubling its operations, Big Bang projects a revenue of €55 million in Serbia this year—an increase of 20% from 2024.

In addition to its three existing pickup points in Belgrade, the company plans to open four more across Serbia.

This move aligns with Big Bang’s broader regional strategy, having already ventured into Croatia earlier this year.

The Serbian market, now the group’s third largest, is expected to contribute significantly to its goal of €600 million in revenue by 2028.

The acquisition of BC Group, completed in December 2023, marks a pivotal moment for Big Bang, which aims to strengthen its position with faster delivery and exceptional customer service at the forefront of its operations.
