Đuro Đaković Group Secures €11.7 Million Contract for Freight Wagons with Swiss Buyer

In a significant stride for the Croatian manufacturing sector, Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles, part of the Đuro Đaković Group, has inked a deal worth €11.7 million with a Swiss client for the production and delivery of advanced freight wagons, slated for completion in the first three quarters of 2024

Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles, a subsidiary of the Đuro Đaković Group, has secured a contract with a Swiss client for the production and delivery of freight wagons valued at €11.7 million, as announced through the Zagreb Stock Exchange by the company based in Slavonski Brod. According to a report by 24sata.hr, the delivery of these wagons is scheduled throughout the first three quarters of 2024.

The Zacns tank wagon, with a capacity of 98 cubic meters, is specifically designed for the transportation of white mineral oils, conforming to the L4BH tank code and boasting a test pressure of four bars. The wagon is meticulously engineered and constructed in adherence to the relevant regulations and standards.

“This new project exemplifies Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles’ commitment to meeting market demands by developing and manufacturing the necessary and optimal types of freight wagons for the current needs within the railway sector,” the company stated.
