Serbia’s shooting talent continues to shine on the European stage. On 7 February, Lena Ristić and Anastasija Živković delivered stellar performances to secure gold medals in individual events, while the national team repeated last year’s triumph as European champions.
Lena Ristić started the series of victories by winning gold in the cadet girls’ solo pistol event. Anastasija Živković then defended her European title in the under-18 air rifle competition, scoring 420.2 points—1.1 points ahead of the Bulgarian runner-up.
With no finals in these events, results were determined after 40 shots in the qualification round, where Živković’s focus proved decisive.
In the team event, Živković, Srna Aranđelović, and Sofija Adamović achieved a combined score of 1,249.7 points, breaking the European record set by Serbia last year. The team finished well ahead of the second-placed Russian (independent) squad, underscoring Serbia’s absolute dominance in women’s youth shooting.
